Katie is passionate about issues of social justice and equitable care. Since graduating, Katie has worked in outpatient community mental health settings, and outpatient hospital clinics. She specializes in mindfulness-based therapies, relaxation strategies, somatic-based therapies, trauma-informed care, CBT and art therapy. She has worked extensively with co-occurring medical and mental health issues, anxiety, panic attack disorder, PTSD, grief and loss, body-based trauma, identity and lifestyle transition, and chronic pain. She has worked with adults, youth and children.

In her free time Katie enjoys making art of all kinds, reading, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with her son.
