Melissa was a nurse for over 15 years, working with diverse populations and volunteering for different roles that provided care to vulnerable populations both in the local Seattle area and abroad. These different opportunities helped shape her focus towards becoming a nurse practitioner and focusing on primary care. In her free time, she loves running and exercising to balance out her love of food, as well as spending time with her family and friends.
