Beneficiary of Life Insurance
An easy way to provide a substantial future gift to Neighborcare Health is to name Neighborcare Health as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Because the death benefit of a life insurance policy will most likely exceed any amount you can afford to donate during your lifetime, naming Neighborcare Health as a beneficiary is an effective and affordable way to make a generous gift. You simply pay your monthly premiums, and upon your death, the full face value amount of your policy is contributed to Neighborcare Health, tax-free to your estate.
You may also name Neighborcare Health as the owner and beneficiary of a life insurance policy, which would entitle you to a tax deduction in the year you do so. If your policy is not yet fully paid, you may make tax-deductible payments to Neighborcare Health to cover future premium payments.
As with any important financial decision, Neighborcare Health strongly encourages you to consult with your legal or financial advisor to determine whether this is a good option for you.
If you have already established a future gift to Neighborcare Health, please let us know so that we may express our deep appreciation for your thoughtfulness.
