Michael spent twenty years co-directing a tobacco control organization that worked locally and nationally on legislation, policy, education and counter advertising against the tobacco industry. He is originally from Buffalo, NY and moved to the Pacific Northwest for the outdoors. He enjoys hiking, cross-country skiing, photography and playing the guitar. He has two children and three pets: a golden doodle, a lovebird and a bearded dragon.
