Video Medical Visits
Neighborcare Health now conducts all virtual primary care medical visits by video.
As of October 9, 2023, insurance regulations changed for audio-only visits (phone), making it necessary for Neighborcare Health to conduct all virtual primary care medical visits by video and no longer offer regular phone visits for medical care.
About video visits
- Video visits use the Zoom platform and are secure and private.
- Language interpretation is also available with video visits. Providers can add an interpreter to the video appointment.
- For your appointment, you will need access to a computer with a video camera, a smartphone or tablet. (See system and web browser requirements below.) Standard data and Wi-Fi usage rates apply.
- If you have an active account in MyChart, you will check in and join the video appointment from within MyChart.
- If you are not able to access MyChart, you will receive a phone call before your appointment to check in, and your provider will email or text you a link to join the video visit from a web browser at the time of the appointment.
