Sarah decided to change career paths to become a nurse practitioner after working for 5 years in nonprofit communications in the immigrant rights and racial justice space to work in more direct contact with people from unserved communities. Last year, she completed a nurse practitioner residency program at Sea Mar Community Health Center in Lynnwood, WA. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring all of the Pacific Northwest's natural wonders, and spending time with her partner and their dog, Howie.
