Sophia Watterson
Health Center Coordinator
The knowledge Sophia has gained through studying and working in public health has led her to push barriers, think critically about social determinants of health, and continue to strive towards true health equity. Outside of work she loves the beach, specifically looking for sea glass and shells, travelling to visit friends, and thrifting. She has two dogs (an Australian Shepard mix and an English Mastiff) along with three pet ducks.
Why I Work at Neighborcare:
I chose to work for Neighborcare because the organization believes in reducing barriers to health care and promoting health equity, which is something I am very passionate about. Being able to provide students with the resources and empowerment to take charge of their wellbeing is incredible to watch and be a part of.
