Why I work at Neighborcare Health: 
It is great working in the neighborhood where I reside. Also it's intriguing and educational to meet with people who have so many different backgrounds. I'm happy to be able to give back to the community.

Sachiko currently practices acupunture at Neighborcare Health's Homeless Youth Clinic, Rainier Beach Medical Clinic, Asian Counseling and Referral Service, Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine, and home-based private practice. Prior to working at Neighborcare Health, Sachiko worked at the King County correctional facility offering acupuncture to the inmates. She has been specializing in the substance abuse/trauma treatment, and the allergy elimination treatment called NAET. She has studied acupuncture in the US and Japan and many of her teachers in Japan are blind practitioners. Therefore, she have developed a very sensitive and gentle Japanese style of acupuncture. She has also been learning the Neuro Linguistic Programming, Time Empowerment Technique TM, and Hypnotherapy. Sachiko is from Japan and enjoys talking and learning about the various kind of foodsin addition to gardening.
