Spring Dinner

There has never been a more pivotal year to protect access to health care.

On April 26th, more than 300 community members gathered at our annual Spring Dinner and raised a record-breaking $220,000! Thank you for your support and commitment to our community.

At the event we heard from CEO Michael Erikson, who spoke about Neighborcare Health's response to the current challenges faced by our patients as the threat of "repeal and replace" looms.
Board member, Tamiko Miyano spoke powerfully about our need to continue to protect our bubble here in Seattle, and to make sure that the 15,000 Neighborcare Health patients who rely on the ACA are not left without health care.

And we heard from patient Cesar, who told a moving story about the ways in which Neighborcare Health has changed his life, including connecting him and his young daughters to much needed services like food assistance and parenting classes. He also explained how instrumental Neighborcare Health was as he applied for, and received, his green card.

Thank you to all of our powerful and compelling speakers including those listed above and Neighborcare Health supervisor, Kenny Sok, and Neighborcare Health interpreter, Roxanne Brown.
